I'm sorry but I'm wondering if I'm allowed to use french on the site and so I object to the rule of only english. Plus I remember you saying that we could put what they said and translate it. Just thought I'd clarify. I just feel this rule is kind of prejudges. I don't wanna question the admins authority or be a pest, I just thought I'd make this suggestion.

This rule was only made becuase msot people speak english on this sight. Stating the if a person comes here and starts speaking a foreign language. Nobody on this site has the proper knowledge to translate it to english. However in the end, it is common sense. Seeing if you have the ability to read that rule, means you have the ability to use english. It justs makes it difficult for the people on the site who mostly speak english.

I guess I see what you're saying. My roommate would study and talk in french all the time and I had to get use to it though it was annoying not knowing what they were saying. I should mention the camp name in Nigel the Ninja means peace.

Pretty sure that we are a International Roleplaying Forum, most of our members are North American, but that does'nt mean we don't welcome everyone. English is just one of the worlds most common languages despite the fact that it can be quite hard to learn from scratch. I support the idea of other languages being used in Roleplays just maybe not excessively. Maybe a pharagraph or sentence or something but not an entire post. I also support the idea of using other ideas because it does shed some light on the P.O.B. section of Character Bio's.

TheMaskedStranger is correct. The RPG Furies is an International Forum where everyone is welcome. English is recognized as the Universal Language and is to be the only one used, unless according to Rule 8 of Role Playing which has been modified to add clarification.
"8. Other languages can only be used within Role Playing Games when a character are speaking. It is recommended to place a translated version of the speech in brackets after the dialogue. It is also a good idea to translate any Nouns appearing in a different language simply for the readers purposes."
